August 5

On Saturday, August 5th at 10am the 4th Annual Back-to- School Health Fair will be held at Brownsboro High School. Chandler First Assembly of God is so excited that Rock Hill Baptist Church as well as the First United Methodist Church of Chandler have agreed to partner with them to make this event as big as it can be for the community! There will be Backpacks full of supplies, Vision and Dental Screenings, Haircuts, Socks, Shoes, and lunch provided to each person

that comes through the doors. All goods are FREE WHILE SUPPLIES LASTS — Children MUST be present to receive goods and services. Carter Blood Care will also have a bus available to donate blood.

August 6

Edom Civic Theatre presents “Opal’s Million Dollar Duck”. Directed by Meredith Hamlin. Make your reservations for the second production of 2017! Friday and Saturday performances are at 7pm. In this delightful, laugh-a-minute comedy, two local bumbling actors discover that a junk dealer has found a valuable missing museum painting in a trash pile.
